The reason I am asking this question is because, I was reminded of this very thing when I incorrectly treated a condition. The condition was for bumps that had appeared on my body that were rather uncomfortable. The itch drove me to seek a lotion, or anything that would alleviate the condition. I found something that my daughter had obtained while we were on a trip. I was thinking that it would take care of the itch. After using this treatment for two days, with no success, I decided to read the instructions. I was dismayed when I read that it was for warding off insects, so that they would not bite. My daughter added insult to injury by stating, "That is why we go to school; to learn to read."
This brings me to the title of this blog, "The Right Treatment."
In life there are situations where treatment of conditions needs to be treated in the correct way. As for the situation, it could be different for each one of us. But, when it comes to the situation of a person with a hurting or lonely heart, there is only one treatment that will work. It is to call God who loves us so much and does not want to see us suffering! This is the right treatment for this situation, and many other situations that we may find ourselves in, in life.
Read: Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto me, and I will answer thee."
John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him,"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
So, we are learning that we can only come to God, by Jesus Christ, because He is the way, the truth, and the life. We will not be able to go to God through our good works, any religion, or belief. It is so easy, if we would only use the "right treatment" if I can put it that way.
I had to learn the hard way, by the treatment of the bumps on my body(which sparked the thoughts for this analogy.)
